SAA Tank dodges Guided Missile: A close call for the tank crew on this one.
Yemeni forces have struck one of their heaviest single blows to date on the Saudi military. They conducted an ambush that killed at least 40 soldiers and destroyed 3 tanks and 6 armoured trucks.

A prominent Islamic State Emir who is allegedly responsible for numerous terrorist bombings against Lebanese security forces and civilians has been arrested. Officially he is the leader of jihadi terror group Jund As Sham but he is also recognised to be an Islamic State operative in Lebanon.

Hurricane Matthew was a category 5 Hurricane but dropped in power to 4 a few days ago. It’s the strongest Hurricane to hit the Caribbean since 2007. Earthquake Ruins Pescara Del tronto: On the 24th of August an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the richter scale struck central Italy. The epicentre was 75 km from Perugia. Over 290 people lost their lives as a result of the earthquake.
Baton Rouge Louisiana floods: Baton Rouge is in the global news for the second time in a few months. After the police shooting now the town has suffered severe flooding. Thousands of houses were submerged with tens of thousands of people being evacuated. 13 people lost their lives.
